CERTIFIED FINANCE SPECIALIST
CFS certification is aimed at aspiring and practicing finance professionals. CFS develops your knowledge in corporate finance, capital budgeting, working capital management, capital markets and business combinations. CFS certification sets an expertise-benchmark for financial management.
Recognition
CFS is jointly certificated by Scottish Qualifications Authority and IQN. CFS is recognised on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) at level 8 with 80 credit points. The certification is SCQF credit-rated and awarded by SQA. The certification is also referenced as a level 5 qualification in the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).
Who is it for?
There are no formal entry requirements. CFS is open to all – from school leavers to post graduates and employees who want to increase their knowledge and skills in financial management. However, it may be of particular interest to:

â–ª University students considering careers in the field of finance and/or further stud
â–ª Individuals with a general interest in business and finance
Exemption
If you have already achieved a comparable qualification in accounting or finance, then you may claim exemption from CFS exams. Click hereto submit your exemption application online. Exemption fees are exactly same as CFS exam fees.
